Gardening helps

Did you know we offer a gardener's salve made from locally picked dandelions and jewelweed? True to form, it is a deep yellow green color, thick like petroleum jelly, but soooo effective on rough, calloused, plant and weather irritated skin. But speaking of weathered skin, if you get too much sun, try patting a burn with a cotton ball soaked in diluted vinegar (or apply with a spray bottle) to soothe heat and pain. My old high school literature teacher also swore by cabbage or lettuce leaves placed on a burn and I have since heard this from several sources around the natural living circles. Any other ideas you know of?
