Must-have Recommendations

Updated: Nov 27, 2023

I've been trying to compile all the things I've used in the last 5 years that are useful and did what they claimed, while still being a frugal find. These are items that I would buy again in a heartbeat if a gremlin took off with them. Most are used daily or almost daily and have saved time, health, or effort- a vital component in my crazy busy life.

Here's the list- these are all on amazon for ease of finding and the links are my affiliate link because if I am going to recommend them to you anyway because they are so great, and you are going to consider it for your home or life regardless, I appreciate the opportunity for amazon to share a few pennies with me while not making you pay any more than I did.

We have these scattered around the house for a soft glow, night light and all the health reasons people use these. Same ones last for years and only one has needed a (cheap) bulb swap.

This is my kitchen workhorse! I actually have 2 for large canning sessions, but for everyday, this does everything. I actually donated my crockpot and stove top canner in place of this. It browns, slow cooks, pressure cooks, waterbath and pressure cans food for long term storage. Makes bone broth super fast. For canning, it's mostly hands off and automatic for the time you set so no worries about watching the pressure on a stove top canner.

We use these in the kitchen, bathroom and workroom for easy access to washing up without the disposable liquid soap containers.

Refilling a 7 day organizer every week was getting aggravating. This solves that, but also allows you to take one or a few days with you when you're away from home, instead of the whole thing. It fits lots in morning/evening bins and fits daily meds plus supplements.

I have used and abused these mats for years and still love them. Replace disposable parchment paper and make baking cookies, chicken, bread, or dehydrating a breeze. I use these every time the oven is on and found out they double as a 9x13 lid to replace aluminum foil health concerns. We recently made wraps on these that would have been impossible if we couldn't peel them off the mats. My favorite and most used tool the in the kitchen.

This has been the best work-from-home purchase I've made. Easily converts from flat (for travel) to ergonomic sitting height, to standing desk height on a conventional table or desk. Also converts to laying down for streaming movies in bed and the adjustable independent legs can be set for uneven surfaces.

My small kitchen has made counter clutter a constant battle. Up until last week, keeping my potatoes and onions from sprouting, and bread from being crushed, was a struggle until I found these. I have 2, side by side, that now keep the veggies and bread, darker, fresher and protected. Best part is it eases my stress from looking at a very cluttered space while also giving me precious storage on top for tinctures and teas.

Be looking for part II coming soon!
